About the Artist

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1979, I embarked on a musical journey at the tender age of 10 when my grandmother Goldie introduced me to the world of music. With a love for saxophone ignited within her, she brought down my grandpa's 1940s Conn Lady Face alto sax from an attic, sparking a lifelong passion for playing.

My real journey began with private lessons under renowned Milwaukee saxophonists like Joe Kress, Peter Neumer, and Curt Hanrahan. Throughout the years, I played in various ensembles such as MYSO (Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra), GYMWE (Greater Youth Milwaukee Wind Ensemble), and GYMJE (Greater Youth Milwaukee Jazz Ensemble). This experience led me to earn a performance degree scholarship at UW Milwaukee.

As my skills developed, I ventured into the vibrant local live music scene, performing in bands such as Upside Groove Coalition, Heads With Wings (morphine tribute), SLM, Wapatui, Thy Dirty Deuce, Lovanova, Scott Berendt and the Us Project, Almighty Vinyl (with horns section), Hot Rod Huey and the B-sides, many annual Milwaukee Spoof Fests, Gozortenplat Band of Milwaukee Zappa Fest, and my solo project Saxy Sensations. My journey took me around the world, sharing stages with legendary musicians like Ernie Watts, Peter Neumer, Willie Waldman, Ike Willis, Ray White, Steve Molitz, and others.

Throughout my career, I had the privilege of opening for renowned bands such as Little Blue Crunchie Things, Galactic, Fishbone, and even Journey.

My journey has led me to numerous concerts across the globe. However, one of my most memorable experiences was playing for my parents before their passing at the BMO Harris Stage. With "Don't Stop Believing" echoing through the air, I paid homage to the love and support they provided throughout my life.

As I continue to explore new horizons and collaborate with talented musicians, I remain committed to sharing my passion for music with audiences worldwide. The best is yet to come as I embrace the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
